How it all started...
Stone Bridge Church in September of 2017. We started with a vision of just a few families that had a heart to reach their own community. The idea of the bridge came of how Granger is surrounded by many well-known bridges in the Des Moines area. We wanted to be a bridge to people and their relationship with God, each other and in our community. The idea of the Stone came from 1 Peter 2:7. Jesus is the chief cornerstone of the church. Without Jesus as our foundation, we are nothing. Only Jesus has the power to make things new. In September of 2017, Stone Bridge was launched with that vision. Our first four years we met in the Granger Community Center. In 2021, we outgrew the community center and moved into the Woodward Granger Elementary School.
Our Pastor
Todd and Jennifer Jones
Pastor Todd and Jennifer have been in ministry for over twenty five years. They have been married for twenty seven years and have five children and two grandkids. Before coming to Granger, they were part of a thriving church plant in Montezuma, Iowa for twelve years. Pastor Todd has also served as the Iowa Assembly of God Church Planting Director and has mentored many young church planters.

We love our community!
Here at Stone Bridge, we believe we are to be a bridge to Dallas County and the Woodward Granger School District. We have a strong emphasis on being present in our community. Throughout the year we hold bridge events such as a community Easter Egg Hunt, Spring and Summer Vacation Bible Schools, Back to School supplies, Teacher Appreciation, Christmas gifts for WG students and other outreaches.
Where we are headed...
Our vision is continually bridge the gaps between heaven and humanity. We have recently purchased land right outside of Granger and we are raising funds to build our first building. Our goal is to be worshipping in our own space in the Spring of 2026. We know the best is yet to come!

Be a part of our story...
